The Puerto Vallarta community is organizing a benefit event to support longtime drag performer Mama Tits (Brian Peters), who is facing serious medical challenges requiring ongoing treatment. The event, titled “For The Love of Tits,” will be hosted at Awaysis Bar Restaurant located at Aquiles Serdán 625, Zona Romántica, on Wednesday, December 10, at 6 p.m.
The evening aims to raise funds for medical expenses and ongoing care for Mama Tits, who announced a prostate cancer diagnosis on his personal Facebook profile early October, 2025. Brian is a longtime performer, activist, and community pillar whose humor, heart, and unapologetic power have left a mark on residents and visitors alike.
A collection of local musicians and entertainers will perform at the event, including:

- Kim Archer
- Alison Lo
- Stolie
- Mina and Jared
- Dos Pesos
- Surprise Guests
A suggested donation of 300 pesos will be collected at the door. Furthermore, organizers have stated that all bar sales generated during the event will be donated directly to Mama Tits.
Gavin Garner and Adam McRoberts, owners of Awaysis, emphasized the importance of the gathering. “Puerto Vallarta simply wouldn’t be the same without Mama,” they shared. “He has poured so much love into this community for so many years. This is our chance to show him how much he means to all of us.”
In response to the community’s efforts, Brian Peters expressed gratitude: “I am truly touched by the outpouring of love and support from Gavin and Adam and Diego and all the artists and this beautiful community. Thank you all so much.”
