Fairyland: Puerto Vallarta’s Queer House Music Festival is returning for its second edition, promising to be a groundbreaking celebration of house music, love, and community.
Hosted by Almar and Mantamar in association with Brian Kent Productions, this four-day extravaganza will transform the stunning Mantamar Beach Club into a pulsating, inclusive oasis from March 12 – 15, 2026.
Billed as the first-ever queer house music festival anywhere, and certainly the first on a Mexican beach, Fairyland is setting a new standard for music events in Puerto Vallarta.
A New Caliber of Talent
The 2026 lineup is a powerhouse of more than 20 world-class DJs and producers, featuring legendary names such as The Shapeshifters, David Penn, Horse Meat Disco, and Shermanology; as well as the freshest emerging stars in the house music world.
“This is our second year and once again, we are bringing a caliber of DJs, the likes of which Vallarta had never seen in the past,” stated festival producer Brian Kent, in a recent interview.

More Than Just a Festival: It’s a Movement
Fairyland is designed to be a safe, electric space where the fierce and inclusive energy of the LGBTQI+ community can thrive. “It’s not just a music festival, it’s a movement,” Kent explained. “LGBTQI+ artists performing at the same venue, legendary names in the industry that have never been here before. This is a new sound to Puerto Vallarta.”
With the breathtaking backdrop of Puerto Vallarta’s beaches, attendees can expect sun-drenched day parties from noon until 10 p.m. each night at Mantamar Beach Club, featuring beachfront stages and pool parties with stunning ocean views. The festival is expanding its capacity for this second year, welcoming up to 1,500 people.
The party doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Festival-goers can head to One Six One, Brian Kent’s house music bar, for official after-parties. These events are slated to be an industry hub where DJs can jump on the decks and connect, promising a true insider vibe. Organizers also hint at more exciting news and collaborations with other popular US parties yet to be announced.
