CLUB JETS MX Lands This Semana Santa
Fasten your harnesses and prepare for liftoff: a brand-new era of queer nightlife is arriving in Zona Romántica. Visionary entrepreneur Jet De La Isla, alongside ballroom trailblazer Chaka Paradise, is officially launching Club Jets MX—a sex-positive, genre-defying queer space built for dance, desire, and unapologetic freedom.
Located at Basilio Badillo 330-B, in the heart of Zona Romántica, Club Jets MX transforms the former Beefcakes Bar into a techno-fueled sanctuary where all identities are not only welcome—but celebrated. The soft opening weekend takes flight April 18–20, during Semana Santa 2025, with three nights of bold performances, pulsing beats, and radical queer joy.
“I’ve danced in abandoned warehouses in Berlin, served in ballrooms in New York, and cruised underground sex clubs in Europe,” said De La Isla. “Now, I’m bringing everything I’ve loved from the global queer scene and fusing it with Vallarta’s fire. This isn’t just a club— Club Jets MX is a complete fantasy.”

Soft Opening Schedule:

Friday, April 18 – The Main Stage
Hosted by Elektra West, featuring The Iconic Colombian DJ Piolinda Marcela, Kemocion, Vertigo Frisby, and Gemini 2999.

Saturday, April 19 – AGUJERO NEGRO (CDMX Takeover)
Mexico City’s cult techno collective lands in PV with sets by Gommo Auriolo, Morlune, Marians, Sundance Kid, SNZ, and Cachi MX.
Sunday, April 20 – Kinky Queer Night – Not-So-Holy Holy Week
KQNights is a platform for artistic creation based on the research, exploration, and erotic staging through Sex Siren. Empower yourself and enjoy a series of performances in this special Holy Week-themed edition.
A night dedicated to desire, sensuality, and the free expression of the body.
KQNights is an artistic project created by the Ballroom PV community and the Mermaid community.

And this isn’t a one-night affair—Chaka Paradise, the father of Kiki House of Paradise, is bringing his experience and fire to build a full-on weekly ballroom scene right here in Vallarta, giving the local community a consistent stage to vogue, serve, and thrive.

Throughout the weekend, guests can cruise into the DRKRM TECHNO bar, where resident DJs Trevor and Jameson Rabbit will deliver late-night tribal techno and industrial beats to melt your inhibitions.
Operating from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. during special events, Club Jets MX will officially celebrate its grand opening in May 2025.
“We’ve done what gays do best—taken a mess and turned it into magic,” said De La Isla, reflecting on the club’s total transformation. “Every decision, from the lighting to the lineup, is about connection, creativity, and celebrating our queer bodies and stories.”
Jet De La Isla—also behind Jet’s Naked Beach Tours and the viral “Puerto Vallarta Gays” Facebook group—has built a reputation for breaking norms and building queer community from the sand up.
“This isn’t a remix of the past. This is a brand-new genre. Club Jets MX is Vallarta’s future, and the future is queer.”
