A few popular LGBTQ New Year’s Eve parties are moving forward with plans to hold their events, with one moving its event to an adjoining state to avoid the new restrictions in place in Puerto Vallarta. All of this despite increasing Covid-19 cases in the U.S. and Mexico.

Will George’s New Year’s Evening festival is still going on, it’s just moved from Oscar’s in Puerto Vallarta to the adjoining state of Nayarit, because of new restrictions put into place in the state of Jalisco. Tickets to the event are $125 USD. That does not include many of the “after parties” that are also scheduled.

In a social media post the event posted : “Will Gorges Presents breaking news! The NYE FESTIVAL 2021 has resolved the dilemma and all events are now in locations in Nayarit state – 30 minutes from Vallarta – free continuous AC luxury bus transport will be included to all events! All huge open-air venues! More details to come! Tickets for all events are still on sale! Information Center will be open 12pm -5pm starting Dec 27 2020 to Jan 2 2021 at Coral Spa in front of Hotel Tropicana. Tickets at www.willgorges.com.

Jeffery Sanker Presents White Party Puerto Vallarta New Years Weekend 2021- UNITY has not updated it’s social media since Dec. 13 but still has tickets (starting at $141 USD) for sale for it’s event to be hosted at Mantamar Beach Club Bar & Sushi.

Sanker previously was to hold a large Halloween party at Mantamar and ended up moving it to a new location when previous restrictions were in place. He moved forward with a White Party Thanksgiving event at Mantamar.

Both events boost how many safety requirements they will have in place, including “masks required for entry.”

A story in popular online site Queerty.com on Dec. 2 called out Sanker on his Thanksgiving party at Mantamar.

“But video posted to White Party’s official Instagram page shows masks may have been “required for entry,” but many appear to have taken them off after passing through the doors.

Footage shows a packed room. Two of the go-go dancers are wearing masks over their mouths and noses, but two others are not, and many in the crowd are completely maskless.”

The story went on to say “While White Party has canceled its annual party in the U.S. this year, it has continued holding events in Puerto Vallarta. In addition to last week’s Thanksgiving bash, it hosted a Halloween party in October and plans to hold a New Year’s Eve event later this month.”
