Saphire Beach Club
How I relax on my day off is I love to lay by the pool at Saphire private beach club. Love being there with mimosas and eating the classic Caesar Salad. The staff is very hard working and friendly and not hard on the eyes too. The most important thing to do is relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches. I recommend coming to this beach club for the day pass, which is $200 pesos for a chair and towel and the wonderful pool.
I love to have a fabulous Slushy Drink at Blondies and walk the Malecon at night. My favorite Slushy is “the big tease “ which was my drag queen name in night school (laughs). The drinks at Blondies are wonderful and have so many varieties. The business is gay owned. What better way to start your evening then with a gay cocktail!
From one queen to another, if you want to go out to a neighborhood bar then you must go to Reinas Bar. Nothing like dressing up as a QUEEN. Put on a fabulous dress, make up and shoes and be the queen you were meant to be. The decor and the atmosphere there are so welcoming with the Royal families watching over you.
Fajita Republic
One of my favorite cheap and cheerful spots is Fajita Republic, where I adore the fajitas on the rocks. Gouda cheese melted in a lava bowl is the way to my heart. Patty and Fernando, the owners, are lovely and very welcoming to everyone. I have been going here for 10 years now and still come back for the food and margaritas.
‘Villains’ at The Palm Cabaret and Bar
My own personal plug! Last but not least, the one thing to do in PV is see Miss Conception’s new show called “VILLAINS“ at the Palm Cabaret and Bar on Olas Altas: Monday’s show runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Thursday’s show starts at 9:30 p.m. – all season long.
